I personally wouldn't want any Pink Floyd cover on this best of! No cover at all indeed, except maybe 21st Century Schizoid Man with Snake at the mike!
And btw, is it gonna be a simple Best of or will some tracks be re-recorded, re-mastered?... |

| Voivod have been around for nearly 20 years. It seems fit to release a 2-Disk Best Of...album. That way at least 2 songs from each album can be represented and older rare and unreleased tracks can finally be released. In my above post I had Jack Luminous as the single track from The Outer Limits but due to time limits I had to switch out that song for The Lost Machine another great track. So, having a 2-Disk Best Of would be a better representation of the band and all their albums. |

That's a good idea, to put some rare songs on the album.
Anyway, this is my list. No chronological order, and didn't think of the time matter, either. Only thing I would request is the songs to be remastered, of course.

Although it was tough figuring out what songs to pick (there are LOTS of favorites that I left out), the songs that I would put on a single-disc "best of Voivod" CD are:

I agree with the others who have stated that bonus unreleased tracks would be a welcome addition to a Voivod compilation. Or how about a separate CD (i.e., sold separately) of demo tracks & live tracks throughout the years. THAT would be great.
